Mumm-Ra resurrects Grune the Destroyer, and Grune searches for Lion-O and Cheetara. Grune finds them and fights them, breaking the Sword of Omens, and then ties them up on the Twisted Rocks. Snarf, who was hiding, gathers the pieces of the Sword to take them back to Bengali for repairs. Snarf is captured by Char, a thief who wants the sword for himself. Snarf tricks him into reassembling the sword, and when it is as good as new, Lion-O begins to feel it and calls for it. The sword comes to him, he breaks free, and then confronts Grune. But Mumm-Ra still has the Gyroscope regulator...
