Yuki begins to search in vain for Reisuke's diary, while Yuno insists that killing him would be quicker. While chasing Reisuke with a hammer, Yuno ends up injuring Yuki's mother instead. Yuno realizes that Reisuke sent his diary to himself to hide it and makes Yuki intercept the delivery, but he falls victim to a trap with toxic gas hidden in the envelope. Reisuke challenges Yuno to a game of hide and seek in the house filled with toxic gas, promising her the antidote if she manages to capture him. Yuno avoids numerous traps set by Reisuke, but eventually finds herself at his mercy. However, Yuki intervenes, injuring Reisuke with an arrow and giving Yuno the determination and opportunity to finish him off. Yuno and Yuki collapse before they can use the antidote, but Uryu, who was informed about the situation by Keigo, appears and saves them. Before leaving, Uryu tells Yuki not to trust Yuno.
